Overview –

BEBB is an independent film made by Hollywood professionals and veterans who have the ability to create a final product with far greater value than its capital investment. In a marketplace where studios focus on gargantuan production and marketing budgets and creating “tent pole” movies, independent film a is driving force in responding to consumer demands. “Passion projects,” as this is for veteran actor, Ned Beatty and his friends, can create value by being made outside the studio system for less. This is also a Florida project which will bring jobs and attention to the state while further enhancing the investment and mitigating risk through use of the Florida Film & Entertainment Industry Financial Incentive Program.

Budget –

This film will be produced for $2.3M. The Florida Incentive Program will reduce the capital investment to $1.7, funds the producers intend to raise solely in Florida. The film will be eligible to receive a 20% to 25% incentive or refund on all in state expenditures (Florida-based expenses), meaning investors will be buying into this investment at .75¢ on the dollar. These incentives are based on Florida Film & Entertainment Industry Financial Incentive Program, are paid out in tax credits.
